Ski areals

The Jeseníky Mountains are one of the most important ski areas in the Czech Republic. There are ski slopes, hires of ski and snowboard equipment and skiing schools, you can also ski in the night or do cross-country skiing, snowtubing or snowcart. Visitors can travel by skibuses and be accomodated in many hotels and cottages.

Červenohorské sedlo

It is one of the most known cenrters in northern Moravia. There are seven ski tows, four ski slopes and a place of the alpine rescue service. Other services – skiing in the night, skiing schools, a hire of skiing equipment, a depository of skiing equipment.

Ramzová

The elevated wireway and ski tows can transport 3590 persons an hour. Skiers and snowboarders can use 8 km of ski slopes, which are suitable for both beginners and advanced.

Petříkov

The ski slopes are suitable primarily for medium advanced skiers. There are also a snack-bar, a depository and a hire of skiing equipment. In the surroundings there are interesting traces for cross-country skiing.

Ostružná

In this areal there are six ski slopes longer than 2km and five ski tows with capacity 2500 persons an hour. They are suitable for advanced, biginners, snowborders and also for families with children. In the areal there are a ski towl for children, a skiing school, a hire, a snack-bar, three-kilometer-long trace for cross-country skiing and free parking.

Praděd

This areal, situated below the highest mountain in Moravia, is sometimes called “the Moravian iceberg”. It is very suitable for backers of both skiing and cross-country- beginners and advanced too, who can use the areal from October to May. There are the highest ski slopes in the Czech Republic.

Miroslav

Klepáčov
